5.2. Measurable
This helps you track your progress and stay
motivated. Assessing progress helps you to stay focused, meet your deadlines,
and feel the excitement of getting closer to achieving your goal.
A
measurable goal should address questions such as:
- How will I know when it is accomplished?
E. g.
I
will need a lot of funds to establish a kindergarten. I plan on saving.
Currently I can afford to save up 30% of my monthly salary which I will invest
in low-risk bonds for a 10 year period. In 10 year period I plan on saving at
least 100.000€. I will search for other possibilities to get funds, by getting
sponsorships and investors.
In 5 years
I will have my first group of kindergartners. After 7 years I will have
employed at least 2 other educators, and after 10 years I will own the
kindergarten. I will repay all the possible loans and mortgages in 10 year
period after acquiring the surfaces.
